How to Save an E-Mail Attachment

Saving an e-mail attachment is easy in Windows Mail. A paperclip icon alerts you that have an e-mail attachment. To save the attachment, follow these steps:

Choose File→Save Attachments.

The Save Attachments dialog box appears.

(Optional) Use the Browse button to find a proper folder for the attachment.

For example, you can browse to your Video folder to save a movie that someone sent you.

Click the Save button.

The file is saved.

To view or access the file, you need to switch away from Windows Mail and open the folder into which you saved the attachment. At that point, accessing the file works just like accessing any other file on your computer.
