How to Post to Facebook with Siri
Siri on your iPhone 4S can help you stay connected with all your Facebook friends. If you're one of the more than 800 million people on Facebook, then you might want to update your status using Siri instead of (or in addition to) typing in an update.
Siri can't offer direct help when it comes to posting your thoughts or actions to a social network such as Facebook or Twitter. For that, you still need to pull out your iPhone 4S, launch the Facebook or Twitter app, and type in what you want your circle of friends or followers to know about at that particular time and location.
Ask Siri, and she'll tell you. Advise Siri you want to update your Twitter feed, and Siri will say, "I can’t send tweets for you. Sorry about that." Ditto for Facebook: "I can't help you with Facebook; sorry about that, Marc."
But guess what? There's a workaround, and it's a pretty simple one. You can post to Facebook with SMS —that fancy term for text messaging — and it works like a charm.
To get going, you'll need to set up Facebook with text messaging:
From your iPhone 4S, text the word "hello" to 32665.
By the way, 32665 on a traditional phone keypad spells FBOOK.
This code works for the U.S. and Canada only. If you live elsewhere, do a search in Facebook's Help menu for "What code do I use to activate mobile texts?" and you'll see a list of short codes for each country.
You'll get an automated reply on your phone.

You'll see a confirmation code and a warning that there may be associated costs with text messaging, depending on your smartphone plan.
The next step is to add the short code to your address book. In the top-right corner, tap the Edit tab, then tap Add Contact, and finally name the new contact Facebook using the new window that appears.
Now you're ready to update your Facebook status by sending texts there.
