How to Make Use of the Office 2010 Ribbon

The Ribbon, rolled out with Microsoft Office 2007, organizes hundreds of commands in a horizontal band of tabs. Each tab features functional icons in family groupings - such as, Page Layout - to allow you to pick a command to perform a task. You can minimize and restore the Ribbon to move it out of the way and bring it back to your screen in full view.
