How to Make Gluten-Free Fruity Caramel Popcorn Balls
Remember Grandma’s yummy popcorn balls? Well, this gluten-free recipe adds a touch of fruit because you use any gluten-free fruit-flavored puffed rice cereal. Try these out for a tasty dessert or decadent snack.

Yield: 12 servings
3 cups fruit-flavored puffed rice cereal
1 cup popped plain popcorn
1/2 cup peanuts
3 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons caramel ice cream topping
In a large bowl, combine the cereal, popcorn, and peanuts.
In a small microwave-safe bowl, heat the butter and caramel topping on high for 1 minute, or until it’s melted. Stir it until it’s smooth.
Pour the caramel mixture over the cereal-popcorn-peanut mixture, and stir it well.
Spread the mixture on wax paper to cool. When it’s cool enough to touch safely, mold it into balls the size of a tennis ball. Store the popcorn balls in an airtight container.
