   There are other options to extand the coverage of your signal, you could use a wifi repeater or a wifi adapter with strong antenna to imporve the signal reception.

   Another alternative is to use inexpensive and easy to configure gadgets known as Powerline Adapters that plug into home's existing electrical outlets. May come with feature to reduce interference from appliances sharing the electrical wires. These can replace or extend wireless networks, and add security, reliability, and faster throughput.
