How to Export to Photoshop Showcase from Photoshop Elements
Sharing media means you want others to see your wonderful creations. The wonderful Photoshop Elements Development Team at Adobe Systems made the process for sharing photos very easy. In just a few steps, you can create and distribute your creations to family and friends. Once you use the new Photoshop Showcase feature in Elements, you’ll return to the Share panel and export to Photoshop Showcase time and again.
The nice thing about using Photoshop Showcase for your sharing desires is that the Adobe Development Team made it so easy for you to assemble a professional-looking creation in an Adobe Flash environment. To see how easy it is to create an album and show it off on Photoshop Showcase, follow these steps:
Open the Organizer and select the photos you want to use for your project.
Click Share in the Panel Bin and choose Online Album from the panel options. If you have an album ready to use, click the radio button adjacent to that album. (Note that all your existing albums appear ready for use in the Share panel.)
For the example, choose Create New Album to start a new album.
Export to Photoshop Showcase.
Click the Photoshop Showcase radio button.
You can first select photos in the Media Browser, click Share, and then click Online Album in the Share panel. All the selected photos are added to a new album.
Click Next at the bottom of the Share panel.
After clicking Next, the Share panel displays two tabs. One tab is titled Content, and the other is titled Sharing. If you want to add photos from your album, you can drag photos from the Media Browser to the Content tab. To delete photos, click a photo to select it and click the Trash icon at the bottom of the panel.
Click the Sharing tab to display options for your album.
If you create a new album instead of using an existing album, type a name in the Album Name text box.
Choose a template.
At the top of the window, you find a number of different template choices. Click a template, and a preview is shown in the image panel.
Elements works away preparing your media. Wait for the process to complete before moving on. After the files are processed, the Photoshop Showcase wizard opens.
Log on to Photoshop Showcase and then click Next.
After you prepare files for uploading to Photoshop Showcase and click the Done button in the Share panel, you arrive at the Photoshop Showcase wizard. The first screen prompts you to log on with an exiting account ID (your e-mail address and password) or provides you a button to click for joining Photoshop Showcase if you’re not currently a member.
If you’re not a member, follow the onscreen guide to supply the information for joining. After you log on, click the Next button.
Preview the album and album name and then click Next.
The first screen appearing after you log on to Photoshop Showcase displays a preview of your album and the album name. Be certain you are uploading the correct album by looking over the details on the screen.
If you want to change the name of your album, you can type a new name in the Name Your Gallery text box. When you’re satisfied you have the correct album and name, click Next to move on to the new screen in the wizard.
Identify the recipients.
The next screen provides you options for adding recipients and their e-mail addresses. To add new contacts, click the Add New Contact button.
Guests can visit your Photoshop Showcase account. If you want visitors to see your album, check the Everyone (Open to Public Browsing) check box.
At the top of the right panel, you find options for adding a subject line and a text message. Type the text you want in these text boxes.
At this point, Photoshop Showcase uploads your files. Be certain to wait until the upload is finished and you see the Finish (confirmation) screen in the wizard.
View the upload.
After the upload finishes, the next wizard screen displays a button titled View This Gallery. Click the button to view the gallery in your default web browser.
