How to Create Nested Lists on a PowerPoint 2007 Slide

PowerPoint lets you create nested lists inside another bulleted numbered list on your PowerPoint slides. Nested numbered lists are not as used as commonly, because the presentation often looks awkward, but PowerPoint provides tools for creating them. To create a numbered or bulleted nested list, start by creating the parent list. Make all entries in the list, including the entries you want for the nested list, and number or bullet those entries. Select the part of the list you want to nest, and follow these steps:

1

On the Home tab click the Increase List Level button.

Click the Decrease List Level button if you want to return a nested list to the parent list.

2

Open the Numbering or Bullets drop-down list.

Select a numbering scheme or bullet.
