Joomla! 1.6 makes it easy to create and publish your Web site’s content without the need for any complex code. To publish a new Publish article in Joomla! 1.6, just follow these easy steps:

Navigate to your site’s back end Administrative Control Panel and click the Add New Article icon, or choose Content→Article Manager→Add New.
Enter a title, select a category for your new article to be filed under, and write the contents of the article in the article-text window.
Click Save to publish the new article or Save & Close to publish the new article and close Article Editor.
