How to Create a Category in Joomla Content Management

By organizing your Joomla website into categories, you make your site more user-friendly. By making the site more user-friendly, you may generate more return visits to your website, which makes setting up categories a worthwhile endeavor.

In Joomla, you create new categories with Category Manager. Follow these steps:

  1. Click the Category Manager icon in the control panel, or choose Content→Category Manager in any back-end page.
