How to Close a PowerPoint 2007 Presentation

Closing a PowerPoint presentation is like putting it in a folder, and storing the folder in its proper drawer. There are three different ways to close a PowerPoint presentation:

1

Click the Close button.

Just that easy, your PowerPoint presentation is closed.

2

Click the Office button and then choose Close.

Almost as easy as the first option.

3

Use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+W.

Because some people prefer keyboard shortcuts.

Clicking the Close button is the easiest way to close a file.

If you’ve made changes since the last time you saved the file, PowerPoint 2007 offers to save the changes for you when you close the file. Click Yes to save the file before closing or click No to abandon any changes.
