How to Add Custom jQuery Code to Adobe Edge Animate CC

If you can do it with jQuery, you can do it in Edge Animate. Take full advantage of the coding panels, APIs, and Adobe's forums to add custom code in Edge Animate to take your projects to the next level. You can add Google Maps, forms, and enable your audience to click and drag images.

To add custom jQuery code to the Stage, open the element Actions for the Stage from the Elements panel. From the code panel, choose CompositionReady. You can then paste in your code, like this:

// make a folder called js and add the js file in it.
$.getScript("js/jquery-ui-1.8.23.custom.min.js", function() {
var info = sym.$("info");
info.draggable({ disabled: false });
info.draggable({ snap: true });
// restrain drag to x axis. you could choose y axis instead.
info.draggable({ axis: "x" });

});

You will also add the appropriate min.js file in your folder structure.
