1

Click the Insert tab on the Word 2007 Ribbon.

The Insert tab is the second tab from the left, located between the Home and Page Layout tab.

2

Find the Header & Footer area.

The Header & Footer area is the fifth from the left, located between the Links and Text areas.

3

Choose Page Number→Format Page Numbers.

The Page Number Format dialog box appears.

4

Choose the style you want from the Number Format drop-down list.

Choose whatever style you like best and you think works well with your Word document.
