How to Add a Special Page Number in Word 2007

In a Word 2007 document, you can insert page numbers in the form of numbers, letters, or Roman numerals. To further customize how your page numbers look, just follow a few simple steps.

Click the Insert tab on the Word 2007 Ribbon.

The Insert tab is the second tab from the left, located between the Home and Page Layout tab.

Find the Header & Footer area.

The Header & Footer area is the fifth from the left, located between the Links and Text areas.

Choose Page Number→Format Page Numbers.

The Page Number Format dialog box appears.

Choose the style you want from the Number Format drop-down list.

Choose whatever style you like best and you think works well with your Word document.
