How Connect a Social Account to a Social Block in Squarespace
You can add all social accounts that are supported by Squarespace to the Connected Accounts area. Here are the general steps to follow to do this:
Log in and go to the Connected Accounts area of Site Settings.
Choose Site Manager→Site Settings→Connected Accounts.
Click the Add Account button in the top-right of the window and select a social account from the list that appears.
Repeat Step 2 to add additional accounts.
All social blocks look to the Connected Accounts settings to see if you have an account already connected for the social block you are adding. You can add multiple accounts for the same social site. For example, if you have two Twitter accounts, you can add both to your site.
When you add a social block, you need to choose the social account from which it will pull content to display on your site. Here’s how:
Add a social block to a page.
When you add a social block to a page on your site, the block’s configuration dialog box will open.
Connect your social account.
Social accounts that you've already added to your site are displayed in a menu to the left of the New Account button.
For a social account that hasn't been added to your site, click the New Account button. Then log in to your social account and give Squarespace permission to pull information and updates from the account. The account will be automatically added to your Connected Accounts settings.
Save the block.
Click the Save button to save your new block and add it to your page.
When you add a new account to a social block, the new account will be added also to the Connect Accounts settings in Site Settings.
All social blocks except the social links block provide you with a way to import content to your website from your social accounts.
