Getting the Right Amount of Fiber

Getting the recommended 25 grams of fiber a day is easy when you introduce whole grains, fruits, and vegetables into your daily diet. You can create menus that include healthy high-fiber foods, as well as reduced-fat products that provide soluble fiber for good nutrition.

I actually started to add extra fiber into my diet for better digestion. It is a very good cleaner, I feel much better I must say I also sleep better. Even adding fiber into plain flour for making e.g. pizza dough make the pizza taste much better. I am describing here about a properly made and healthy - quality pizza made in wood fired oven with olive oil not any fatty food stuff. Thank you...

This video is obviously not adapted for the UK. Any 'Asian supermarket' over here is likely to stock only white rice products (alas), and we don't usually eat 'waffles' (what are they, by the way?). Never mind, the video contains some useful ideas. And here's another: instead of cheese in your sandwich (zero fibre content, just like meat and eggs), greek 'humous' or 'houmous', made with chick peas and olive oil, has a very useful fibre content of 5gm per 100gm.
