Not only can each person who uses your computer have his own user account, but each user can add a picture to user account. So if you don’t like the picture associated with your user account, you’re in luck – you can change it. No matter what picture you choose, it appears on the Welcome screen (if you see that screen to log in) and on the Start menu.

To change your user account picture:

  1. Choose Start→Control Panel→Add or Remove User Accounts.

    The Add or Remove User Accounts dialog box appears.

  2. Click the account you want to change.

    The Change Your Picture dialog box appears.

  3. Click the Change Picture button and click another picture to select it.

    If you don’t like any of the photos, you can browse to see more picture choices.

  4. Click the Change Picture button.

    The dialog box closes.

  5. Click the Control Panel’s Close button.

    The Control Panel closes. When you click the Start button, the new picture you chose appears at the top-right of the Start menu.
