For Seniors: Edit Photos on Your iPhone 4S
A new feature in iOS 5 is the ability to edit your photos. You can edit photos through the Photos app on your iPhone 4S.
Tap the Photos app on the Home screen to open it.
Using methods previously described in this chapter, locate a photo you want to edit.
Tap the Edit button; the Edit Photo screen appears.
At this point, you can take four possible actions with these tools:
Rotate: Tap the Rotate button to rotate the image 90 degrees at a time. Continue to tap the button to move another 90 degrees.
Enhance: Tap Enhance to turn Auto-Enhance on or off. This feature optimizes the crispness of the image.
Red-Eye: Tap Red-Eye if a person in a photo has that dreaded red-eye effect. When you activate this feature, simply tap each eye that needs clearing up.
Crop: To crop the photo to a portion of its original area, tap the Crop button. You can then tap any corner of the image and drag inward or outward to remove areas of the photo.
If you’re pleased with your edits, tap the Save button, and a copy of the edited photo is saved.
Each of the four editing features has a Cancel button. If you don’t like the changes you made, tap this button to stop making changes before you save the image.
