For Seniors: Add and Use Bookmarks on Your iPhone 4S
When you're searching the web on your iPhone 4S with the Safari browser, you can use bookmarks just like using a browser on your PC. Bookmarks are a way to save favorite sites so you can easily visit them again.
With a site you want to bookmark displayed, tap the Menu button.
On the menu that appears, tap Add Bookmark.
In the Add Bookmark dialog, edit the name of the bookmark if you want. To do so, tap the name of the site and use the onscreen keyboard to edit its name.
Tap the Save button.
To go to the bookmark, tap the Bookmarks button.
On the Bookmarks menu that appears, tap the bookmarked site you want to visit.
If you want to sync your bookmarks on your iPhone browser to your computer, connect your iPhone to your computer and make sure that the Sync Safari Bookmarks setting on the Info tab of iTunes is activated. You can also go to Settings on iPhone and make sure iCloud is set to sync bookmarks.
When you tap the Bookmarks button, you can use the Bookmarks Bar option to create folders to organize your bookmarks. When you next add a bookmark, you can then choose, from the dialog that appears, any folder to which you want to add the new bookmark.
