Exploring Your My eBay Summary Page

By default, when you view your My eBay pages, you land on the My Summary page. The My Summary page gives you a snapshot of your current eBay transactions. It provides data about your buying and selling business, and supplies links to the items.

The Buying Reminders area tells you about

  • Items you’re watching that close today

  • Items you’re bidding on that close today

  • Items you’ve been outbid on (for which you may need to up your bid)

  • Feedback that you need to leave for items you’ve won

In the Selling Reminders area, you find info on

  • Questions pending on items from prospective customers

  • Buyers who have requested totals for their purchases

  • How many items you are awaiting payment on

  • How many items you need to ship

  • Cross-promotions that need to be revised due to items’ auctions ending (if you have an eBay store)

  • The number of items you’re selling that are closing today

  • How many items you’ve sold that need feedback

You can customize what you’d like to appear on most of the My eBay pages by clicking the Customize Your Summary link in the upper-right corner. The above figure shows you the customizing options for the My Summary page.

If you subscribe to any of eBay’s paid services, such as Picture Manager or eBay Stores, there will also be a link to your subscription area. In addition, a link is provided to any important notices from eBay regarding changes in its policies or services.
