Drupal Site Home Page Ordering
The default behavior of a Drupal site article is to show up on the home page. The default order articles appear on the page has the newest article at the top. However, say you create an article that you want always to appear at the top of the home page. You can accomplish this by setting the article as sticky. Follow these steps:
Log in to the site as the administrator.
Click Content on the Dashboard menu bar.
Select the check box next to the article you want to always appear at the top of the page.
Choose Make Selected Content Sticky from the drop-down list in the Update Options section.
Click Update.
If you no longer want your article to be sticky, reset this option by choosing Make Selected Content Not Sticky from the Update options drop-down list.
