Drupal Forum Enablement
Forums are great for creating a user community. People can get help from others, provide feedback about your content, and simply socialize. Your Drupal forum can be as tightly or loosely controlled as you wish. You can control the categories allowed on your forum. To see an example of a forum, browse to Drupal Forum.
Just like setting up a blog, creating a forum begins by enabling the Forum module. To enable the Forum module, follow these steps:
From the Dashboard menu bar, choose Structure→Modules.
Scroll down to the Forum module listed under the Core – Optional section.
Select the check box next to the Forum module.
Click the Save Configuration button at the bottom of the page.
The page reloads and displays this message: The configuration options have been saved.
You might notice that under the Create Content link, there is a new link to create a Forum topic. You can't actually create forum content until you set up your forums.
