Droid Bionic: Configure Your Picasa Account
Part of your Google account includes access to the online photo-sharing website Picasa, also known as Picasaweb. If you haven’t yet been, use your computer to visit the Picasa website on the Internet.
Configure things by logging in to your Google account on that website. You also need to notify the Droid Bionic of your Picasa account. Follow these steps:
At the Home screen, press the Menu soft button.
Choose Settings and then Accounts.
If you see Picasa listed on the My Account screen, you’re done. Otherwise, touch the Add Account button.
Choose Picasa (Gallery).
Type your Google account information (e-mail and password) into the appropriate boxes on the screen.
Touch the Next button and then touch the Done button.
Your Picasa account has been added.
After adding the account, any images from your Picasaweb online albums are synchronized with the Droid Bionic and available for viewing in the Gallery. You can see them by touching the Online button on the main Gallery screen.
Picasa albums feature the Picasa logo on them, as shown.
You change Picasa images’ names and tags using your phone, but to delete, edit, or otherwise manage the images, go to Picasaweb.
Because Picasa may automatically sync images with your Droid Bionic, you can end up with two copies of the image on the phone. If so, feel free to delete the non-Picasa version of the image from its original album.
Picasa is for sharing images only, not video.
