Change the Layout of Master Slides in PowerPoint 2007

Changing the layout of a PowerPoint master slide entails changing the position and size of text frames and content frames on your PowerPoint slides, as well as removing these frames. PowerPoint content frames hold graphics, clip-art images, tables, and charts in place. Text frames hold slide titles and bulleted or numbered lists.
To change the size and position of text and content frames, switch to Slide Master view:
To change the size of frames: Click inside the frame to select it. Move the pointer over a frame handle, and drag when you see the double-headed arrow.
To move frames: Click inside the frame to select it. Move the pointer over the frame perimeter. Click when you see the four-headed arrow, and drag.
To remove a frame from the Slide Master Click the perimeter of the frame to select it and press Delete.
To add a frame from the Slide Master: On the Slide Master tab, click the Master Layout button. The Master Layout dialog box opens. Select the check box beside the name of each frame you want to add and click OK.
To remove the Title frame from a layout: Deselect the Title check box.
To remove the Text frame from a layout: Click inside the frame. Click the perimeter of the frame to select it and press the Delete key.
To remove all three parts of the footer from a layout: Deselect the Footers check box. Doing so removes the Date, Footer, and Slide Number frames.
To remove the Date, Footer, or Slide Number frames from a layout: Click inside the frame. Then click the perimeter of the frame to select it and press the Delete key.
To add a content or text frame from a layout: Open the drop-down list on the Insert Placeholder button and choose a Content or Text option. Drag to place the frame or text box on the master slide.
