value: A numeric equivalence or worth of an expression or variable.

variable: Letter representing an unknown number or what you’re solving for in an algebra problem.

vertex: Corner of a figure; where two sides intersect to form an angle.

volume: Measurement of the amount of space within a three-dimensional solid figure.
