Keyboard shortcuts are great ways to get your computer to do what you want to do fast. The following table gives you both Mac and Windows keyboard shortcuts for making your way through iTunes at blazing speeds.

Play selected song or video from beginning. Return Enter
Play song or video after pausing. Spacebar Spacebar
Pause playing the song or video. Spacebar Spacebar
Play next song or video. Right arrow right arrow
Play previous song or video. Left arrow Left arrow
Increase volume. Command-up arrow Ctrl-up arrow or Ctrl++
Decrease volume. Command-down arrow Ctrl-down arrow or Ctrl+-
Mute volume. Command-Option-down arrow or Command-Option-up arrow Ctrl-Alt-down arrow or Ctrl-Alt-up arrow
Eject CD. Command-E Ctrl-E
Open Info window. Command-I Ctrl-I
Show currently playing song or video. Command-L Ctrl-L
Create a playlist. Command-N Ctrl-N
Shrink to mini-player (Windows). Command-Shift-M Ctrl-M
Minimize to Dock (Mac). Command-M Not applicable
Display visuals full-screen. Command-F Ctrl-F
Go to next page in iTunes Store. Command-] Ctrl-]
