1. Take Time to Smell the Roses
Roses require maintenance, but you might find the moments each day you spend in your tranquil, flourishing rose garden to be far more rewarding than the time you spend with your television.
2. Take a Hike for Better Mind and Body Health
You can hike as slowly or as strenuously as you like, depending on your goal: Do you want to get in shape or hike to commune with nature? Even if you live in a city, you’re probably just a short drive away from a great hiking spot or two.
3. Get Your Game On with Cribbage
Cribbage was a popular game in the mid 20th century and can be played with two to four players. It’s a counting game, so it’s a great way to help kids improve their math skills. All you need is a deck of cards and a simple cribbage board, available at most box stores or game shops.
