Notifications are the pop-up messages that appear from time to time in the lower-right corner of the Windows 10 desktop. They tell you when you’ve received mail and when a Calendar event is upcoming, among other things. Follow these steps to decide which notifications appear:

  1. Select the Windows button and choose Settings on the pop-up menu. The Windows Settings screen opens.
  2. Choose System.

    The System screen opens.

  3. Choose Notification & Actions to open the Notifications & Actions screen.

  4. Under Notifications, turn options on or off to tell Windows whether you want notifications to appear on your screen.
  5. Under Get Notifications from These Senders, turn the settings to On or Off to tell Windows 10 which notification you want to see.
  6. Close the Settings app.
