How to Use the Handoff Feature in macOS Sierra

macOS Sierra comes equipped with the handy new feature (pun intended), Handoff. With so many devices to manage, Apple has developed a solution to help you streamline your work.

The Handoff feature lets you start working on a document, an email, or a message on any Apple device and pick up where you left off on another device. Handoff works with Apple apps including Mail, Safari, Maps, Messages, Reminders, Calendar, Contacts, Pages, Numbers, and Keynote as well as a handful of third-party apps.

The Handoff feature is easy to use. Simply click on the Handoff icon, and your work will appear on the screen of whatever Apple device you happen to be using. If you later find yourself staring at a different device with the need to continue your work, click the icon and you are good to go.
