Windows 98 For Dummies
Windows 98 Game Time! FreeCell
Adapted From: Windows 98 For Dummies

Although Windows 98 FreeCell looks a lot like Solitaire, it plays a lot differently. FreeCell works with double-clicks: Instead of making you drag the cards around, FreeCell simply jumps them into place.

The object is pretty simple: Sort the cards in order by suit and number from ace to king on the four right-hand squares. While moving the cards up there, you can move other cards temporarily to the four free cells — temporary card-storage areas — on the left side.

Moved the wrong card? Quick — press F10. That's the Undo button, but only if you press it before clicking another card.
