Stop! Make the Flight Connection.
Adapted From: Priceline.com For Dummies

In the airline world, there's a difference between a stop and a connection. With a connection, you get off one plane and onto another one. You change flight numbers, and sometimes even change airlines. With a stop, you may stay on the same plane or change to a different one, but your flight number doesn't change. For example, some Cathay Pacific flights from New York to Hong Kong stop in Vancouver to get more fuel and passengers. The New York passengers stay on the plane, so it isn't a connection. But stop, connection, whatever . . . it doesn't matter -- they're all the same to Priceline.com. What matters to Priceline is how many times your plane is scheduled to touch the ground, whether you get off the plane or not.
