Making a Mark on History
Adapted From: CliffsTestPrep Memory Power For Exams

When you are studying history, markers are often useful. These markers can be the reigns of rulers, names and dates of major wars, inventions, treaties, and the like. For a particular period, build an outline showing these benchmarks in chronological order. Memorize the dates of the events on this outline. Then you will have a series of useful reference points with which you can associate other historical information you want to remember.
