Customize Outlook's Business-Contact Form
Adapted From: Managing Your Business with Outlook 2003 For Dummies

Outlook's e-mail, contact, calendar and tasks screens are forms that you can customize according to your business needs.

Follow these steps to customize a Contact form:

  1. Choose Tools, Forms, Design A Form.

The Design Form dialog box appears.

  1. Double-click the Contact form.

The Contact form opens, in Design mode.

  1. Select and delete any field or figure you don't want in the current Contact form.

Explore the Field Chooser to create and insert a new field.

  1. Customize your form using the Form design bar tools.

Also, choose from the Toolbox's 15 buttons to create frames, boxes and other designs.

  1. When ready, click Publish (the leftmost button on the Form design bar).

  2. Type a name for the form in the Form Name text box.

  3. In the Display Name text box, type a name to appear on the form itself.

  4. Click the Publish button.

The form is saved in the library, ready to use.
