Create a Windows 98/Me Shortcut to a Paragraph
Adapted From: Microsoft Windows Me Secrets, Millennium Edition

You can copy a paragraph from a document and paste a shortcut to it on the Desktop.

  1. Highlight the paragraph that you want to paste.

  2. Press Ctrl+C

  3. Right-click the Desktop and click Paste Shortcut.

The "scrap" on the Desktop is now a piece of data or text that you can insert into another document. If you click it, Windows invokes the application that created it, and the scrap is displayed in the application's window.
