Not all calculators are created equal, nor are they all equally accurate. Before you buy a calculator, be sure to evaluate what functions you need and how much you're willing to spend. Keep in mind that a scientific calculator is more accurate than a less-expensive four-function calculator because it will carry the decimal places beyond the eight digits in the display window.
