Archiving the Web

Time flies and sites change, but on Archive.org some things stay the same. Go way back to the good old days of Web surfing (circa 1996) with the Wayback Machine. Just enter a favorite URL into the Wayback Machine address box and click your way down memory lane — a great way to see how far the Internet landscape has changed over the last several years. Also browse through some of their topical galleries that highlight landmark sites, such as Amazon.com, and popular themes, such as September 11 tribute sites.
